We use the cold-process method of soapmaking for all of our soaps When it comes to natural, skin-loving soap, the oils used in the recipe are everything. They’re not just fillers—they’re the foundation of how the soap feels, cleanses, and nourishes your skin. At That Sage Life, we carefully select plant-based oils that offer the perfect balance of cleansing power and gentle moisture. 

All of our artisanal soaps are hand cut so they will weigh different weights each one. These particular bars can weigh anywhere from 4.6 oz to 5.2 oz

Each of our soaps will come with a wonderful bamboo soap tray to keep your soap dry from wasting away and a  sisal exfoliating bag to put your soap in to scrub your body down.

🥥 Coconut Oil

Why we love it: Coconut oil is a soapmaking essential. It creates a bubbly lather and adds cleansing power that leaves you feeling truly clean.

Benefits in soap:

– Creates rich, fluffy lather

– Excellent cleanser

– Offers antibacterial and antifungal properties

– Hardens soap naturally for longer-lasting bars

Best for: Oily or acne-prone skin (though we always balance it with moisturizing oils to keep skin soft!)

Castor Oil

Why we love it: A little castor oil goes a long way. It boosts lather and draws moisture into the skin, making it a behind-the-scenes hero in every bar.

Benefits in soap:

– Adds thick, creamy bubbles

– Acts as a humectant (pulls moisture to the skin)

– Helps bind other oils for a balanced formula

Best for: Keeping skin soft and hydrated without greasiness.
